The Attitude of Gratitude

Just as I was growing tired of the cold and the snow, my friend Deb called with great news: Her husband is working almost nonstop.  He owns a landscaping business, but in the winter he clears snow.

So much for me complaining about it when they’re both so grateful for the Alberta Clipper aka “polar vortex” that struck this week.

I should also be grateful because despite the chill, it’s been delightfully sunny.  I don’t usually get to see blue skies in the winter
